Walking in Honor™ is school and community focused and is designed to help students with being open to personal and academic achievement, making healthy choices and constructively identifying the building blocks that hinder their success. The overarching goal of the Walking in Honor™ program is to provide a pathway for positive change by teaching a culture of honor, the value of moral responsibility, community service and academic performance.
Moreover, Walking in Honor™ encourages self-discovery, self-discipline, critical thinking and teaches the social and interpersonal communication skills that contributes to healthy school, community and peer relationships. Walking in Honor™ increases the likelihood that participants will be equipped with proven strategies to tackle life’s adversities and succeed. Program data has shown that youth become career focused, goal oriented, happier and more confident in their talents and abilities.
